Rural Telecommunity Center's Internet/Community Network Hub

So, what is an InterNet/Community Network Hub? InterNet is a network of computer systems tied together by the telecommunications infrastructure. Through this network of computers users can access a variety of information contained within these systems, communicate with other users on the network, and access services and information created by other communities and regions managing an InterNet hub. The RTC will provide these same capabilities to any individual within the RTC's region.

Most importantly, though, the RTC will create an InterNet Hub so that the communities using the RTC can begin to contribute information to other users on the InterNet and market health, education, government or business services to the rest of the community, region or world. Many examples currently exist on the InterNet of major corporations and small business people advertising their expertise or services to a completely new clientele and collaborating with others to create new or expand services, thus enhancing their economic opportunities.
