
Kelli Schneider is the Director of Business Development for Rural Health Futures, Inc. Her responsibilities include business development, assisting with grant writing and generating marketing material for the company. Over the past three years she has had the opportunity to work with rural communities across the country in discussing telecommunications and technology opportunities for their rural community. Kelli works with rural residents, businesses and local organizations including the chamber of commerce, economic development, hospital administration, school administration, local newspaper staff and government agencies. Kelli's role is to discuss how rural communities can take advantage of telecommunications and how this technology can benefit their quality of life.
Over the past three years Kelli has attended the National
Rural Health Association Annual Conference (May 1996 &
1995), Rural Health Community Development (October 1996),
Tri-State Initiative (November 1996)Kansas Hospital
Association Annual Conference (November 1993), the Applied
Clinical Trials Annual Conference (March 1994) , the Rural
Electrification Administration Conference; Distance Learning
and Medical Link Program (July 1994) , and the Interactive
Video Teleconference on the National Information Highway
(September 1994).
Some of the projects Kelli has worked on include:
Critical Path, Clinical Research Advantage, TeleHealth
Gazette Newsletter, Rural Electrification Grant, Rural Health
Outreach Grant, Office of Rural Health-Telemedicine Program,
Network Information System Application Planning Process and
the Telecommunication Information Infrastructure Assistance
Program.
Prior to her position at Rural Health Futures, Kelli had
the opportunity to acquire marketing experience through a
number of different events. Her experience includes
territorial plans for AT&T Small Business Division,
advertising campaigns for the Colorado Seat Belt Association
and other local businesses, marketing plans for small retail
businesses, comprehensive promotional plans for non-profit
organizations, and marketing research for the Higher
Education.
Kelli graduated from the University of Northern Colorado
with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration,
emphasis in Marketing. Some of Kelli's achievements include:
Departmental Scholar, The National Dean's List, Golden Key
National Honor Society and Athletic-Academic Honors.
