Rural Health Futures, Inc. worked with a group from Northeastern Kansas that includes: Community Hospital, Onaga, Holton Community Hospital, Horton Community Hospital, Nemaha Valley Community Hospital and St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center. This group was awarded approximately $500,000 from REA to purchase telecommunications equipment for their facilities. RHF assisted this group with the selection and implementation of Telemedicine equipment by coordinating vendors, vendor selection, telecommunications acquisition and grant documentation.
