RHF assisted St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center, representing KAWNET , KTI and the University of Kansas Medical Center in the preparation of an Office of Rural Health Policy-Telemedicine Grant Program application. The goal of this application was to bring to bear the substantial expertise in Telemedicine independently developed by KUMC, KAWNET and KTI to addressing the opportunities and policies that should guide the use of Telemedicine in supporting medical consultations among rural primary cared physicians, specialty physicians, and other participants in the health care delivery system. This project involved over 15 counties in the state of Kansas.
