The Federal Office of Rural Health Policy (ORHP) recently held a Telemedicine Evaluation Workshop to help developers of telemedicine systems design meaningful evaluation plans. Well-designed evaluations are critical to developing well-designed projects. The workshop is designed to help improve the quality of the evaluation plans of telemedicine grant application. Attendees will learn which questions are important to the development of effective telemedicine projects from the perspective of project implementation and policy development. The workshop will also assist participants with addressing evaluation questions and provide information on analyzing and presenting data. During the workshop Ron Schmidt conducted focus groups on strategic/needs assessment for developing telemedicine systems.
