RHF worked with the Pioneer Health Care Alliance (PHCA) to assist them in understanding the role of telecommunications and advanced technologies, realizing the importance of telecommunications, evaluating the current telecommunications usage and needs in their communities and evaluating the value of integrating services or collaboration among various entities within the region. The next step will be the building of a Rural Telecommunity Center joint venture between Pioneer Health Network, RHF and Kansas Communications, IMNET and other vendors.
