A Telecommunications and Information Infrastructure Assistance Program (TIIAP) application was the development of the Supporting Community Link Nationwide Network (SCLN Net), an interactive teleconferencing based network that would directly impact communities in a six-state region in the mid-section of the country, including Kansas, Colorado, Montana, Nebraska, Utah and Wyoming. This application proposed that SCLN Net will create interactive teleconferencing "hub" locations in the communities of Leavenworth and Topeka, Kansas, Denver and Grand Junction, Colorado, and Billings and Butte, Montana. The next phase of this project is to extend the telecommunication link out to the surrounding rural communities of these "hub" locations.
