Neymar da Silva Santos Júnior , referred to as Neymar, was born on February 5, 1992 in Sao Paulo, Brazil. In Paris Saint-Germain Football Club in France, he also serves as the captain of the Brazilian national men’s football team.
Neymar was born in the Santos youth academy. In 2009, Neymar was promoted to the Santos first team. After winning South American Footballer of the Year twice, Neymar moved to Barcelona in the summer of 2013. In the 2014-15 season, Neymar helped Barcelona to be crowned the “Triple Crown”, and personally won the Champions League Golden Boot and King’s Cup Golden Boot. In August 2017, Neymar joined Paris Saint-Germain with a transfer fee of 222 million euros that broke the football record, and won the best player in Ligue 1 in his first season after joining. In the 2019-20 season, Neymar helped Paris Saint-Germain reach the Champions League final for the first time.
In 2010, Neymar was selected for the Brazilian national team for the first time. In the summer of 2013, Neymar won the Confederations Cup with the national team.
