Carlo Ancelotti said in October: “I think Cross will stay.” Real Madrid had already offered him a contract extension, but the player wanted to wait and see.
Then Cross said about the future: “I will retire here.” Also said: “I do not know what will happen, but I will not change the club, I and the club are very calm, everything will be fine, that’s for sure.”
