January 07 News German Sports 1 Frankfurt reporter Christopher Michel and
The Frankfurt Review has updated the contract extension of Frankfurt central defender Ndika.
Sports 1 can reveal that Barcelona is very interested in visa-free Ndika. His contract will expire this summer, and the Frankfurt Review said that Ndika has informed director Kloscher that he is unwilling to renew his contract.
Sports 1 could not confirm the news, so there may still be a slight chance for Frankfurt management.
For both parties, however, immediate departure during the winter was out of the question.
According to Spanish media reports, the Sevilla club is targeting Ndika, hoping to do everything possible to raise funds, but neither Frankfurt nor Ndika are interested in this.
Plus, it’s not just wages factoring in, if worst there is a big signing fee.
Sports One can reveal that Ndika’s agent hopes to secure a total contract of 50 million euros for his client, which includes a signing fee of around 15 million euros, an additional 7 million euros in salary and a five-year contract.
That figure puts potential clubs off.
English clubs, Juventus, and especially AC Milan, they have already made a strong pursuit of Ndika six months ago, and they all have their eyes on Ndika, but who is willing to meet Ndika’s request, it is still unclear
There is no fixed number.
