Djurjevic flew from Serbia to Dubai, United Arab Emirates in the early morning of February 25th, . As soon as he met with the team, he will implement the team leadership handover with Jankovic.
Djurjevic will officially enter the role of coach of the Asian Games men’s football team starting from the 25th.
However, in the early days of leading the team, he first needs to be assisted by the Jankovic team to familiarize himself with the players, understand the content and process of team training and daily life, and work with Jankovic to speed up the implementation of the coaching handover.
It is understood that after Djurjevic’s coaching work is on track, Jankovic plans to return to Beijing at the end of February or early March to prepare for the first training session of the National Football Team this year.
The two Serbian assistants who are currently co-coaching the men’s football Asian Games team with him, the goalkeeper coach Maximovic and the physical coach Perovic will also join the national football coaching staff.
