Chelsea Football Club gave up Enzo and chased McAllister and wanted to intercept Hu and Arsenal to sign Mudrick.

The Portuguese club insisted on a full transfer fee and told Enzo that they would give him a big raise if he stayed until the end of the season and that his contract would expire in 2027. Chelsea are also close to finalising a deal for Monaco centre-back Badiacil, who are reluctant to trigger Enzo’s termination terms, while Chelsea hope to persuade Benfica to give in on their position by offering a sizeable advance.
If this turns out to be impossible, then Chelsea have other options in midfield and they will keep an eye on McAllister. Chelsea are nearing a contract extension with Cantor, who will become a free agent in the summer, but the Frenchman has not played since he tore his hamstring in August. Cantor has experienced a series of injury problems and is not expected to make a comeback until March.
Jorinho’s contract also expires in the summer and the future of the Italian midfielder is unclear. Chelsea are also interested in Bellingham and Rice, but the transfer of the two will face fierce competition.
If Chelsea fail to sign Enzo now, they may reconsider the deal in the summer, while both Enzo and McAllister are expected to swing to the flank.
