February 26 News Tomorrow at 0:30 , Manchester United vs Newcastle will usher in
League Cup final this season.
Before the game, Newcastle coach Eddie Howe accepted an interview.
Eddie Howe said: “Hopefully the players get used to reaching the final and don’t see it as a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. In my opinion, this is not the right way to look at this game. We really want to control it.
Your own emotions, harness people’s energy. Of course, we also have high expectations for this game.
“This is the future we all want and we know that only by working hard and sticking to our principles will earn us the right to make it happen. We hope this race will kick off an era where we compete for honors more often.
“Winning it would definitely help us speed up the process. But this game isn’t everything. Anyway, the team is in a good place and we can grow from here.
“Of course we need to put pressure on ourselves to achieve everything in the future and I didn’t go to Wembley just to enjoy the day.
“When we paid our respects to the Queen, I felt like I was supposed to wear a suit and then go back down the aisle to change. Everyone asked me how I did it so fast – I was like Superman.”
