December 17-FIFA held a meeting during the World Cup in Qatar and discussed and adopted a number of new measures and regulations.
Among them, the FIFA Football agents Regulation has been passed, which aims to establish a fairer and more transparent football transfer system, which prohibits the emergence of “multiple representatives” in order to avoid conflicts of interest.
The regulations also set a cap on brokers’ commissions in order to strengthen the “stability” of contracts, protect the integrity of the transfer system and maximize financial transparency.
