January 4, "Süddeutsche Zeitung" reported that Allais will return to the training ground this week, but
It is not yet possible to estimate when he will be able to return to the game.
Allais was previously diagnosed with testicular cancer and has returned to training after undergoing chemotherapy.
"Süddeutsche Zeitung" revealed that before Christmas, Allais completed a difficult personal training course in Dortmund. Now he is in top form, but it is still impossible to predict when he will return to the game.
Allais was in Borussia Dortmund on Monday for a medical check-up at the start of the year and met some of his team-mates, and he is expected to see more again this week.
Allais will start training with the ball this week and may even join the team’s training camp in Marbella on Friday to get back into the rhythm.
Dortmund’s sports director Kyle has previously stated that the pace and intensity of training is entirely up to Allais himself, and the same will be the case in the next few weeks. The club will not put pressure on the players to let him come back.
