The Hawks officially announced that Snyder will become the team’s new coach.
According to a report by the well-known NBA reporter Woj, multiple sources revealed that Quinn Snyder and the Eagles have reached a 5-year contract, which includes the rest of the season.
Woj said Snyder is expected to start coaching the Hawks as soon as Wednesday against the Wizards.
Snyder, 56, has served as an assistant coach in the Clippers, 76ers, Lakers and Eagles.
From 2014 to 22, Snyder served as the head coach of the Jazz. He led the team with a record of 372 wins and 264 losses in the regular season and 21 wins and 30 losses in the playoffs.
