According to the British media “Daily Telegraph”, Tottenham captain Lowry may face an absence of at least 6 weeks due to a knee injury in the victory over Manchester City.
It is reported that the initial pessimistic forecast suggested that Lloris might even miss the rest of the season, but Tottenham hope that the Frenchman can return in six to eight weeks.
Lloris’ injury is a major blow to Tottenham manager Antonio Conte and his side’s hopes of qualifying for next season’s Champions League.
Lloris underwent treatment against Manchester City and despite a 1-0 Spurs win, scans revealed he had injured ligaments in his knee and will now need some time to recover.
Tottenham hope that Lloris can recover without surgery, but his situation can only be concluded by continuing to undergo examinations!
