According to Chelsea reporter Nizaar Kinsella, Chelsea are about to sign Brazilian starlet Andre Santos from Vasco da Gama. Meanwhile, the Blues have also loaned out Santos and Ivory Coast striker Fofanah in January.
Nizaar Kinsella said the 18-year-old Brazilian midfielder Santos, one of Brazil’s most popular rookies, has not yet completed a medical examination or signed a contract with the Blues, but the transfer fee is widely seen as £13 million plus a surcharge of £7 million, a five-year contract.
Earlier, Chelsea had reached an agreement with Norwegian club Molde on the transfer of Ivory Coast striker Verfana at a cost of 8.6 million pounds and the player completed a medical examination yesterday. Santos and Fefana are both seen as future players by Chelsea and both will be loaned out during the January transfer window.
Us goalkeeper Gabriel Sloenina is currently training at the club after joining the Blues from MLS this summer for £12 million.
