Roberto: I want to stay in Barcelona. The economy is not important.

In an interview with RAC1, Barcelona defender Roberto talked about his future and expressed his hope to continue to play for Barcelona.
Roberto said: “now I get the same salary as when I was promoted from Barcelona B, but I am proud because I want to stay here and the economy is not important to me.” In the past few years, I couldn’t enjoy the game because of injuries. Now I want to get back in shape and enjoy football again. ”
“I have had a difficult time in terms of injuries, but I believe 2023 will be a completely different year and injuries will be forgotten and I believe that 100 per cent. You can always make progress. I’m sure I’ll be better than ever. There is no doubt that the injury was the worst moment of my career, but after the operation, everything changed. ”
Asked about a contract renewal, Roberto said: “We haven’t started talking yet, but my idea is to stay.” From what the coaching staff told me, they are very satisfied with me and they want me to stay.
