According to the Spanish newspaper Le Monde, Max Alonso will continue to play for Barcelona next season and the two sides are about to reach an agreement to renew their contract.
Alonso, who turns 32 next anniversary, joined Barcelona this summer and quickly integrated into the team. Xavi and Barcelona are satisfied with Alonso’s performance.
The negotiations on the renewal of the contract between the two sides are progressing smoothly, although they have not yet been settled, but there are only a few details short of reaching a complete agreement, and the new contract will last at least two years.
