December 9-Manchester United’s official financial results show that the club’s financial situation is not very satisfactory, the funds in the account is only 24 million pounds.
On June 30th this year, Manchester United still had £121 million in their account, but by September 30th that figure had fallen to £24 million. In the first quarter of the 22-23 season, the Red Devils lost nearly 2.5 million pounds a week before taxes, although the club has taken a 7 per cent pay cut as a result of missing the Champions League.
On the debt side, Manchester United’s loans totaled £680 million as of September 30, with £431 million owed by suppliers and part of the transfer fee paid by instalments.
